Part 3: Role Hierarchy & Requirements
From what we all saw during our time running Wal-mart, ranks were obtained too quickly and too easily. This allowed people to climb fast then “retire” even quicker since they had nothing else to achieve. I want to be more strict when it comes to MR+ roles. Once a person gets to say.. Arcade Manager it should take them at least 1.5 weeks before they can be promoted to Security. I understand that this might be kind of stressful and demanding of the person, but allowing work to just grow that fast won’t be ideal. Think of this as a real business.
My proposition:
LR Ranks: Promotions will be based entirely on points until first MR rank.
MR Ranks: Promotions will be based on Points + Activity
HR Ranks: Promotions will be based on Points, Activity, And avid participation/contribution to the group and or game.
SHR Ranks: Yall kinda just there since you’re the top
Owner Ranks: No one will be getting this tbh, having too many owners is just not ideal
Part 4: Sessions
Sessions for the most part will function the same as Wal-Mart. Shifts and training will be the main 2 events that get hosted, but occasionally fun events for prizes can be allowed.
Part 5: Activity
One of the largest reasons that Wal-Mart was so boring was because of the lack of activity and communication in our general server. To combat this, I wish to enforce a message requirement for staff members of a specific rank classification or higher (not determined yet). Might also do a top message thing for prizes :thonk:
Part 6: Enforcement of rules
Being more lenient when enforcing rules will help shine some light on the server.. It won't appear as being controlling and “tyrannical”. Especially calling someone out randomly. Also allowing people who failed to make their requirements have an extended time limit or a different system to prevent them from hating working here. Remember that this is a game, we shouldn’t expect them to dedicate their entire life here.
Part 7: A better engaging server
I’ll be blunt, the server is boring. Since there is almost no discussion, the bot channel is the second best option but even that is kinda dead. Going back to part 5, the message requirement idea will be the best way to have a server that isn't dead.
Part 8: Closing Thoughts
With this relaunch, I really wish for EVERYONE to contribute to the overall success of this group. This means activity from owners must be mandatory. Running a group is tough as we’ve experienced, this means we must work together and not butt-heads as often as we’ve been doing. ily guys <3
